Medicaid provides incontinence supplies for children with disabilities and adults in the state of Virginia. In order to obtain diapers and diapering supplies, Caregivers or eligible individuals should contact the Medicaid Support Coordinator who will give available options and explain the difference between Consumer Directed Care or Agency Directed Care. Incontinence supplies require a Medicaid Waiver. Moms in Motion and At Home Your Way are Consumer-Directed facilitation providers for Virginia's Medicaid Waiver Programs. These organizations will help you find what is available and how to access services including incontinence supplies as well as other necessary services. The phone number for Moms in Motion and At Home Your Way is 800-417-0908.
If you are a Caregiver or are a diaper pantry providing incontinence supplies for individuals with disabilities on Medicaid, please have the Caregiver or individual connect with the Medicaid Support Coordinator. Click here for a short video from Moms in Motion with information about how Medicaid Waivers may be able to help the families you are supporting.
